Tumby Bay, on the Eyre Peninsula, is a coastal town with pristine beaches, a pine tree line foreshore and sheltered bays which offer year round fishing and boating. The nearby Sir Joseph Banks Group of Islands is a marine conservation park.

Attractions out of the water include the Koppio Smithy Museum and the C.I. Alexander National Trust Museum, the Rotunda Art Gallery, the Excell Blacksmith and Engineering Workshop Museum and the Tumby Bay Cottage Crafts.
