The Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Café would make a relaxing first stop after leaving the Spirit of Tasmania in Devonport and heading towards Launceston, etc. It is situated in a lovely setting by a lake only a 20 minute drive from Devonport. The early opening (7am daily) and delicious menu make it a great breakfast choice. If you can’t get there for breakfast then the daily $10 soup and dessert lunch special will hit the spot.
The staff members are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the surrounding areas. The café/shop also stocks fresh local produce to complement the large range of raspberry themed produce and gifts stocked. You are also welcome to stroll through the four hectares of raspberry plantings, harvested between December and May. Open daily from 7am to 5pm. Evenings by appointment.
