Dimbulah is located 47km west of Mareeba and 150km west of Cairns on the Atherton Tableland. Formerly known for its Tobacco farms, Dimbulah now grows Ti-Trees, mangoes sugar cane & native tree plantations. The railway station at Dimbulah is still used today by the Savannahlander Train which runs between Cairns & Forsayth.The station has been restored & also incorporates the Information Centre & a museum with local arts & crafts on display.
