Aloomba Lavender Farm is located on
the Mt Lindesay Road approximately
4kms north of Liston and is set amongst
picturesque cattle country of rolling hills
and green pastures. The 12,000 established
lavender plants are a pretty sight whether
in flower or not. It presents a great
opportunity for photos especially late
November to early December when flowers
are at their peak for harvesting.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of
activities in the region from wineries to
national parks, and the largest granite
rock in Australia, Bald Rock. Visitors can
discuss the workings of the lavender farm
with Tere and Peter, relax with a coffee and
browse the gift shop. 48 hour stopovers are
available at a cost of $20 per night. Take a
