The village of Pilliga is situated in the Pilliga Forest, the largest naturally formed Cypress Pine Forest in the southern hemispere. Pilliga is home to the Pilliga Artesion Bore Baths. Swimming in the hot mineral waters of the bore has been a popular recreational activity for many years. attractions include the Pilliga Cemetry where you can view the graves of the pioneers and Pilliga Pottery where everything is hand made on site using local clays.
