Lascelles is located on the Sunraysia Highway 25 kilometres from Hopetoun. It has a very small population of only 60 residents. The town was established as a station on the Mildura railway line.
Its proximity to the Mallee National Parks makes Lascelles an ideal base from which to explore. The Stockman’s Hut Gallery is known for some of Australia’s best corrugated iron sculptures and rural inspired paintings.
Parking permits, basic supplies and visitor information are available from the historic Minapre Hotel.
