Kulin is a warm and welcoming community located in the upper great southern Wheatbelt with the local economy based on road acre agriculture. It is a very accessible town, with ample parking and space to manoeuvre vehicles.
Tourist attractions in the area include the Tin Horse Highway, the Macrocarpa Walking Trail, wildflowers, Jilakin Rock and Lake which has a lovely picnic spot, and Buckleys Breakaway, a picturesque landform of white cliffs and gullies.
Two annual events are the Kulin Bush Races, on the 1st weekend in October and the Des Cook Memorial Quick Shears which is held annually in September.
