Cuballing is a small rural town situated 192km south-east of Perth. The district covers 1250 square kilometers in the Central Wheatbelt area with a population of approximately 850.

The Shire of Cuballing incorporates the areas of Popanyinning, Yornaning and Cuballing and offers travellers an opportunity to visit several heritage buildings, which have been lovingly restored. The Nature and Heritage Trails of Popanyinning enables visitors to view the native wildflowers and local birdlife along a 5km walk, which is suitable for wheelchairs and prams.

Other visitor attractions include Yornaning Dam, Hotham Olives, Dryandra Woodland and Barna Mia, a sanctuary for endangered animals.

A tavern is located next to the RV rest area in Cuballing, which provides meals and friendly, country service. The streets in Cuballing and Popanyinning are wide enough for large caravan combinations or coach sized Motorhomes to park.
