Burraga is located 47kms from Oberon. The Burraga copper mine was operational from 1878 until 1916 and generated economic activity in its time.  The Mill Museum, in Rockley, has memorabilia relating to the mine. The mine was served by Burraga Dam and today is used for camping, fishing and picnicking. Campbell’s River and its nearby reserve is a popular fossicking site.
