Blinman is a town deep in the Flinders Ranges, in the mid north of South Australia and just north of the Flinders Ranges National Park. Tourists travel to this region to experience its natural beauty, and get a taste for rural life in outback Australia.
Alpana Station is a historic sheep station offering travellers a base from which to take in the surrounds. The station’s many walking trails and 4WD tracks provide visitors the opportunity to explore the spectacular scenery, plants and wildlife.
4WD guided tours of the station are also available.
Alpana Station bush camp, offers parking (96hrs) for self-contained vehicles at a cost of $10. Pets are also welcome as long as they are kept on a leash.
