CMCA Australian Motorhomes Charity Safari
And the winner is.......
The CMCA Australian Motorhomes Charity Safari for 2010 has been run and won. The winner of this year’s event was the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), receiving a donation of almost $4000.
Among other recipients of donations were Alzheimers Australia and the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. Many thanks from these organisations to the participants of the 2010 event for their fundraising efforts which were conducted between bouts of hysteria.
The underlying principle of a Charity Safari is to have a great time seeing parts of Australia off the normal track and sharing these adventures with like minded fellow CMCA Members.
The 2011 Safari is now in planning. The route wends from Yarrawonga to Yarrawonga and no short cuts will be allowed. During the journey, which includes Swan Reach, the participants will be encouraged to obtain the maximum smiles per gallon.
CMCA encourages Members to join in this event, enjoy their travels and help out worthwhile community causes.
