Before It’s Too Late
This retirement game is hard to take,
The urge to work is still there to shake.
Staying at home when we wanted to roam,
Was the reason we first bought our motorhome.
We have had caravanning with little success,
Cause the hitchin’ up left us a bit of a mess.
And reversing it in at a caravan park,
Just made people laugh, a bit of a lark.
Now we travel this land with little to care,
We love what we are doing, and there is plenty to share.
There’s Tom, Dick and Harry, and I am sure there’s a Dave,
We don’t care who they are, for they all get a wave.
We are contented and happy I’m glad to say,
And I don’t really want it any other way.
My message is simple, “Don’t leave it too late”
Do it now, just you and your mate.
