The History
In June 2002 a new public company CMCA (Casino Village) Limited, now known as Casino Village RV Resort, was formed for the purpose of acquiring part of the then recently deregistered Casino Airport and to develop on that site Australia ’s first motorhome village. Purchase of the site occurred in June 2003 with development of Stage 1 commencing around the same time.
It was at this time that the CMCA’s shareholding in the Village reduced to 25% with the remaining 75% of shares being owned by a consortium of CMCA Members. Since then further shares have been issued and the CMCA’s relative shareholding has diminished while retaining its position as a major shareholder in the company.
Development of Stage 1 has progressed with powered sites becoming available for overnight or prolonged stays from October 2003. Since then additional sites and service facilities have been completed.

The Village
The Village site is park-like, level and situated within a short walking distance of the town's CBD, and even closer to the new South Casino shopping centre. There is a ‘Club House’ (ex-airport terminal building), large car parks and hard stand areas, a compound for park maintenance and hangar buildings for member use as well.
It provides first rate site accommodation, entertaining facilities and areas to cater for 'happy hours' with the famous CMCA camaraderie.
Level sites can be rented at attractive rates and Members are welcome to stay overnight, for extended periods or even to retire in the planned retirement village.
The Village is a place to either relax in private surroundings or to join in the activities that are organised in the Club House and the entertainment halls.
